Got a new 1 piece driveshaft made. 1310 ujoints, steel shaft, custom flange.

I snapped it in 20 minutes while testing it...back to the drawing board...

WTF? How did you manage that? What kind of steel did you use for the main shaft?

That's a one piece. Its seamed 2.5" 0.083 steel. Upgrading to a seamless 3" 0.083.

3" is what my driveshaft shop used for mine... granted though, you've got at least 200whp on me. Regardless, the guys at the shop said that the tubing they used is good for about 1k wheel but the u-joints were only good for 6-700 or so.

Also... I hate to threadjack, but I've gotta ask you about your SLR kit - how crazy negative does it make the camber? Haven't really seen anything definitive on the SLR kit, but I've seen the topmounts for the wisefab kit... that shit is ridiculous.

Cars down for some upgrades. Cams, 2000cc injectors, gaskets, possibly new standalone, camber and toe correction for the rear, body work, tube front, radiator setup, etc. It's going to be down for a while but once its done we should be looking at over 700whp in e85 and possibly 800 on racegas. I just hope the chassis is ready.

this is a very nice build...i have to post some pics of my 2jz swap soon..ive had mine in my car for years now slowly building it up..i have to make a full post ..but as for your swap i cant wait to see more.
