3" is what my driveshaft shop used for mine... granted though, you've got at least 200whp on me. Regardless, the guys at the shop said that the tubing they used is good for about 1k wheel but the u-joints were only good for 6-700 or so.
Also... I hate to threadjack, but I've gotta ask you about your SLR kit - how crazy negative does it make the camber? Haven't really seen anything definitive on the SLR kit, but I've seen the topmounts for the wisefab kit... that shit is ridiculous.

Cars down for some upgrades. Cams, 2000cc injectors, gaskets, possibly new standalone, camber and toe correction for the rear, body work, tube front, radiator setup, etc. It's going to be down for a while but once its done we should be looking at over 700whp in e85 and possibly 800 on racegas. I just hope the chassis is ready.
