    Looks fantastic.

I've always wondered - how strategic do you have to be when welding all the runners to the final collector? Are there areas where it's impossible to weld that you have to plan out before hand?
    I have no welding experience.

very.....I didn't give it as much forethought as I should have. But I learned a lot. some of the collector welds because of my sequencing I had to use internal and external gas purge setup and several inches of stickout of tungsten on my torch.

I'll definitely approach it differently next time.

I've done quite a bit of work to my personal ebay manifold to give it proper fit, modified it to a twin scroll and added wastegates. It'll do great for the t3. Once I take the motor to the next level I'll build my own personal manifold.

Cut it apart, lined up the flanges and welded it back together.

      Added wastegates

Some fun I had this weekend. I was driving the black 240 S14.5 with neon wheels most of the day.

                          Updates

I'm all moved.....again. Back home and even though it's small I've missed this space. I've worked on my car more in the last two weeks than I have in the last 6 months.

I wanted to get the exhaust manifold, wastegate dumps and probably even the DP done before I pulled the motor for final assembly.

I finished cutting it all up, welding flanges back on, splices in and opening up holes for the wastegates. I also cut the flange off. I warped it so bad because I welded without a heat sink so I got a new flange for it too.

                          Wastegate runners fitted and tacked.

                          Welded

                          Tacked back onto manifold

                          Welded and flange fitted

Finally back in car and routing the dumps. Try to get those finished up this week.

Side note......Don't get your long sleeves caught in a belt sander....sweet disappearing act ensues.

Thats really about it for pictures, so bad at remembering to take them. More to come this week though.
