    Holy crap an update!

Let's see where Mr. 323i is right now:

Oh, it's exactly the same as before. However, next to it, what's this?

An S50! That doesn't burn 2 qt of oil per tank of gas!

Also I installed the trunk top trim.

More stuff tomorrow. Project's moving again.

Lemme know from where you plan to leave for the picnic. I'm down for a caravan

    wowowow an update!

I'll be getting the rest of the kit attached to it and the interior reinstalled this week. Then, I need a glass guy to come by and put the front and rear windows in.

I still need to arrange for a motor that doesn't burn all the oil, though..

You have a nice list there. I wouldn't mind another caravan up to WA. My e30 needs a new trans-->diff before it can go anywhere.

It has been decided. I'm driving this damn thing to the Picnic this year. Just need to..

    - rebuild s52
    - 5-lug swap
    - reassemble all of the interior
    - put all the glass in
    - find a driveshaft that works with the 245/11
    - put on all the mtech 1 stuff
    - clean up and repaint the engine bay
    - get all the OBDII stuff flashed and harness converted

    sounds easy, yeah?

also I got new beltline trim, and the front fender sections have these weird pins on them:

what is used to actually fasten them to fenders? this is some new style I've not seen..

not with the turbo, if you're after wastegate fitment opinions.

you're probably gonna need to cut the tower support.

Did you ever end up fitting the turbo'd motor in to an e30?

M106 pushed our lemons car to 14th in the last Sonoma race. It actually makes for a very reliable race motor without a turbo!

I'm going S52 with 245/11 dogleg, keeping the bigger dogleg for eventually putting into the M5.

So what's the plan for the engine now? S52? Did you ditch the m106 idea?

a full set of new beltline trim, rear e32 calipers, e30 m3 rear rotors and various clips is on my desk at work right now.

I hurt my back pushing a dead e36 up a hill though, so I haven't carried it to the shop. Stupid calipers are heavy.
