sorry for off topic.. I know you can swap in m3 hubs in the rear pretty easily, but what's the story on the front? it's alot more involved than that right? full strut swap? also m3 front wheels have a wider track than normal e30. then there's the wider track on the IX... Maybe going 5 lug m3 on an IX isn't as hard.

painted trailing arms

they were originally going to be for the black car, but then I found my other set of trailing arms with bearings in them that aren't totally fucked. preferring to do one rear wheel bearing job rather than two, I decided to keep the good bearings together, and pull these 4-lug hubs out in favor of the M3 ones I've been sitting on. so here's a picture of that.

predictably the asshole inner races stayed on.

I've been refrigerating the new wheel bearings for a few days, so those should be in soon. still no progress on the goddamn sunroof.Leave a comment:
