the driveway's on a slope. I'm ok with them using extra people to make sure it doesn't roll into traffic!

yup, towed the car to CAtuned and they hooked it up. Spal puller fan replaced the shitty pusher fan that wasnt up to the task. Drove the rest of the way home yesterday with no issues other than idiots in the fast lane

back home in the shop after color sanding and buffing:

I still need to strip down the S52 and get it to a machine shop, so this build will likely extend through the fall, but hopefully not the winter.

you have the 2 piece metal front valance on your car right? does that work with a jimmy hill lip or no? conflicting info out there...

no updates, sorry. burning man, lemons and vacation have been eating my e30 time. It should get moving pretty soon, I need to drop off the S52 at a machine shop in the next few weeks.

yes, it's a 2 piece valence. there are two generations of them, both are 2-piece. the early one (what I have) does not work with the jimmy hill lip, but the late one (87-88) does.

                        Pretty sure the 2nd gen is 1 piece. that's the one I've been trying to find for 2 years now, 41331933772 (A/C) and 41331933770 (non-A/C). I found a 770 but really want a 772.

I'm selling my 2 piece setup.

well if i could remember any of it

anyway, i'm almost to the end of about two months of solid madness and might be able to work on the e30 again. next step is taking the engine to a shop to do the top and bottom ends, because I don't feel like fucking up an S52.
