thanks folks. It's been a long road - I've just checked back in the thread and this has been going since 2013.
luke - I've been doing house work and garage work as well, and a lot of "well what can I botch together from these 2x4s instead of waiting in line at the hardware store". It's a fun escape from existential dread.

Great work Kronus! The car looks excellent.
Funny how lockdown makes you finally complete a few projects
I did a gearbox & diff oil change on the e92 this week & also went hunting for a clutch issue on the e30, tracked it down to the slave cylinder being on the way out so ordered a new one (I guess having to actuate the HD clutch I couldn't expect it to last forever) and knocked down a stud wall in the house, replaced a section of ceiling, replastered and repainted, all with materials that had been sitting around in my shed!Leave a comment:

Beautiful car. I like the how the chrome window trim flows nicely with the bumpers, door trim, and wheels. Also, I really need an MT2 rear spoiler in my life.Leave a comment:

well, 2020 has been a whirlwind of a year so far, hasn't it?
one of the benefits of living approximately 12 feet above all my tools and this car during an unprecedented global pandemic and quarantine is, I found a bit of time to get the bugs in the swap sorted out. It's now smogged, registered, insured, and street legal! It even almost doesn't leak stuff!

...just in time for the entire bay area to be under curfew...Leave a comment:

Car looks great. Wheels look like 2 piece Weds Bavaria's - excellent choice!

Those wheels fit nicely. Hard to tell from that angle, but are they multi-piece Alpinas?Leave a comment:

(I'll backfill some build information once my hands recover from the thrash)
