    1991 318i Covertible Schwarz: Progression

(WARNING A LOT OF PICTURES) - i wish i put this on the thread title

    Hey R3v,

Just wanted to make a thread to have everything in one place for this. I will add to it when I have time and answer questions when I can.

Picked up this 1991 BMW 318ic a year ago as a beater and have done quiet a bit in a short period of time. Keep in mind this is a budget build just to have a nice cruiser for the summer.

Located in Bellingham, WA where all it does is rain.

Here is a bunch of pictures from the start to the current status of the car. Will add text later.

    Cost to buy car: $300

    Enjoy!

    Pick N Pull

    Dyno:

Some H&R race springs with bilstein sports

    New Waterpump

    New Thermostat

    Some temporary Wheels (sport edition)

    New door finally

    Some 16x8 style 5’s with 42draft adapters

A little photoshoot is in order

Thanks for looking! Will update as changes occur

thank you! the difference was like night and day after the timing overhaul.

and nope, haven't had any problems with hitting the oil pan... so far "knock on wood"

also, i liked the sport edition wheels. different.. you still have them? you should put them back on every now and then.
