I had an early front at some point, but I can't remember who I sold it to.
The bumper swap is easy, because I have all the parts from my former 2 door, that one had a bumper swap too.
Here's early (black) vs. late rears (golden).

Starting to fit the bumper.
This is just a quick mock up, I need to replace the fitting brackets to the one from the late model, I was just curious because I know there's a difference in the wheel arches from early to late model, and I didn't know if the previous owner of my first 2 door changed the wheel arches to late model.
But he didn't, so it's some minor changes to fit the late bumper on the early model car.

Got original emblem for the grill, had to settle for a replica emblem for the rear.

Ordered parts for the rear subframe today.
Powerflex bushings, brake pads and paint.
Gonna fix it up with some gold and Nogaro Silber.

I must say, for what you call an unholy badge, that thing looks great. Take a photo beside a real one. What are the differences? The one I see routinely on ebay, has a more modern look to that rear badge.. looks nice just not original. That, looks right.

You got the Cirrus part right, I'm still trying to figure out the awesomeness pice of the puzzle.

I have a real one on my daily.
Differences is that the ''unholy'' one is more shiny and a tad smaller, plus it is made from plastic.
The real one is aluminium plate, and not so shiny.

Found one more thing I need for my shadowline swap, don't know what they're called in english, but they're are located on the inside of the windows, between the window and the metal.
Since the original ones are chrome on the car, I'll have to change to black when I do the shadowline swap.

You got the Cirrus part right, I'm still trying to figure out the awesomeness pice of the puzzle.

I think we've all had ones where we tried to find the awesomeness, I had a horrible E34 touring once, it looked awesome but was horrible to drive.

The replica does not look so bad. I only have one rear emblem. All the sticker stuff goes on after body and paint is dialed in.

I'm painting my emblems in Nogaro silber to match my wheels and pinstripes.
It's going to the paintshop some time around April, it's a friend that's going to respray it in Cirrusblau, and paint the center of the wheels in Nogaro Silber.

My dad finished cleaning and repairing the ACS exhaust part.


Found some of the plastic parts I need for the front. Brake duct vents for the front valance and inner fender guards (Don't know if they're called that, but it's a complete set of plastic covers for inside the fenders).


Found one set of smoked Hellas, now I don't need to worry about buying new adjusters for that side.
