Welded my 3" outlets on my intercooler, mounted and ran lines from tilton brake/clutch reservoir, and bought an hx40 for cheeeeaaaapppp to slap on my e28. Degree kit corm comp cams showed up so I can finish the motor and put everything in soon.
Dropped the work equip faces off for finishing. So I have an Evo 9 intercooler that I originally cut the inlets off and welded them on straight but now I need 3" inlets so I redid it. Here's how it used to look.
Pulled the pedals back out this morning to swap I the big ass 1-1/8" master for the front calipers. Waiting on a wilwood proportioning valve from my buddy to finish up the brake system.
Today I welded up my turbo drain to the pan and elbow to my compressor vband.
Correct size front master cylinder comes tomorrow so I will swap that in soon. Taking the work equips to Espo's powdercoating this week to get finished up.
Godamn I love this build..!! Makes me a want turbo v8....to be honest I secretly yearn of building one.
Will you have to massage the firewall/foot well area to fit the trans?
Thanks Otis, I cut down the reverse lockout and welded a cap on the back so it has a smaller profile because it hit the trans tunnel. I need to "clearance" the trans tunnel in one spot and it's all set.
6an Teflon for the pressure side and normal 6an for the low pressure side.
Plenty of guys use the camaro pump in their e36s and this is an e36 rack so I don't see any problems with it. We will see
