New axles from CA tuned, CA tuned rebuilt tranny and....

Shant over at bimmer heads is building me a kick ass head!!!

16x8.25 et 0 without spacers

Front 205/45 et - 20

Rear 225 45 in pic et is - 15 but I have spacers so I can get it out to the fender line.

They don't make a good tire selection for 16s and I'm too poor for 17s

Dude 17's are dirt cheap, mainly why I bought my set of em.

225/45/16 cheapest tire on tirerack: $160
225/45/17 cheapest tire on tirerack: $64, ($177 for the same equivalent tire as the 16 though)

Got about 20-25 runs in this weekend and I think I've still got 6/32nds left. Pretty decent amount of grip out of them too. One thing though... they don't smoke particularly well.

That's a good deal. I might try to find some 17s for the rear but I don't feel like changing the front Atm. With the angle kit clearance is super tight and I have it pretty much perfect after a lot of tweaking.

I get nexen n3000s for the rear for a bit over 300$ shipped. I love nittos , they grip good and smoke great.. Only 205s though in the ones I like.

Champiro uhp I tired last event. They were like 250 for the set, work well actually.

jeez man... $150 per tire is kinda pricey. how many events does a set like that last you (in the rear anyway)?

Also, how fast do you have to spin to get your tires to smoke? I was pulling about 60-70mph and getting very little smoke...

To compare we did 330whp at 14psi everything stock 2.7i

Upgrades are the port and polished head with port matched intake and exhaust, turbo cam, mm Springs, and crank scraper.
