^ shopped. emma would never show titties. to much class
Noted. Cx racing turbos are suppose to be "decent" few buddies back in my 240sx days ran them and never had issues.Watch out for the ebay turbos, some of them last and other dont. I would also test the blow off valve with an aircompressor, my ebay one was a major boost leak causing inconsistent boost. Im not saying ebay stuff is all junk but Id make sure the stuff works before running it.

about to pull the trigger on some parts and start the most ultimate budget turbo M50 build of all time. (Emma approved 10/10 would smash all day and nite)
Ideas so far in order of importance:
1. UNDER $1000 BUDGET
2. All accessories must stay. (air conditioning) (washer bottle)
3. Reliable
4. No more than 10PSI
5. 300 hp goal ??
Plans:
ENGINE STAYS IN CHASSIS
Stock 540i exhaust no cats into 2.5 collector V band style so I can switch back and forth if needed.
Chip tune, stock maf stock injectors, maybe 21.5s if worse comes to worse.
CX racing turbo internally gated t3/t4 oil cooled only $200
Ebay e36 bottom mount mani $259
Volvo intercooler mounted in front of radiator $?? junkyard
-10AN oil drain. (need to get another pan)
2.5 piping $50?
1 step colder plugs
knock off blow off. $15
some sort of AFR on the cheap. maybe not. $??
no boost control
nothing crazy, just simple.
My engine should handle it really well. I did all that port head work and a full top end refresh with ARP hardware. It should be fun.
In b4 haters for ebay junk. Ill be a lab rat and risk an engine. Whats the worst that could happen??

Why don't we have a "like" button on posts yet? Jeez, even the 2002faq guys have it and they are at least 40 years older than any of us.Leave a comment:

Or you incorrectly installing the turbo feed and killing it straight off the bat
