How did you mount the front and rear bumper? I thought diving boards couldnt go plastic without it looking horrible but i think that looks great

Sorry I just now saw all these comments. Motor mounts just got painting kinda by impulse. And I don't know what you're trying to say about the whole e36 thing. If you don't like what I'm doing with MY car, eat a dick. Do what you want to yours. This ones mine. The front and rear bumpers are mounted using fiberglass brackets i glassed onto the inside of the bumpers, I glasses a nut into them so I could thread a bolt thru the fender and into the nut to hold it on. I'll get some pics later on to show what I'm saying, hard to describe.

Pics of that would highly appreciated. I always wanted to mount plastic bumpers but I never knew how to properly execute it.

Aaaaaand almost a year later.... It's finally going in. My friend, chase is home for the winter so I finally have a wrench turning buddy and a place to do the work, his garage. Also, he has an e36 m3 that he just blew the first cylinder all to hell, so I have a donor for some parts as well as a zf 5 speed rather than the getrag 250 I had before.

                The workspace

So we got the m20 out of the car thanks to some extra muscle from our buddies Mackenzie and Daniel.

Then we cleaned up the bay and got all the m20 sludge off of everything, started routing the harness and got the brake booster moved over almost a full inch. That's been the hardest part so far. Had to bend an "s" into the throttle pedal arm so it didn't hit the clutch master cylinder.

Then we continued on assembling the motor, painted the valve cover and finally got the flywheel, clutch and trans on. She is damn near ready to go in, hopefully tomorrow. We tried to use chases s50 headers (possibly borla?) And they were going to nail the lollipop, so back to the stock manifold.

For shits and gigs, here's the aftermath of his s50 breaking a valve off on the head of the piston.

                      E30 m52b25 first start.:

Got it in and running!! All I'm waiting on now is my 24v swap flex disc from revshift. Then I have to put everything back together and find someone to make me some exhaust.

I updated the OP to fix all the broken images. Anyone ordered anything from revshift recently? I ordered my flex disc over a week ago and havent recieved shipping confirmation and i even called and left them a voicemail with no response. its literally the only thing keeping this swap from being complete. I have to wire up my fan, tidy up some other wiring and then reassemble the car and its on the the muffler shop.

Tag them on instagram for an immediate response. I ordered something on the 18th of december and it took 11 days to ship. I spoke to him on IG and he said they are slammed from the holidays and scrambling to catch up. My second order was placed 7 days ago and hasn't shipped. Yesterday I spoke to him and he said it would be out this week, and hopefully to me by the end of the week.

                            This.

We are slammed from the holidays but we are catching up quickly. All pending orders will be out by the end of the week. We are a small company and we manufacture everything in house. It gets very overwhelming and chaotic at times.

Seems like they do enough business that an inventory wouldn't hurt. And an email stating that they're slammed and their may be waiting periods would be nice as well. I wish I had known months ago that I was gonna end up with this zf trans, I would've got the guibo then.

We usually do keep an inventory but our black friday sale wiped it out. There is a lot that goes into everything that we make.
