      found another cardinal arm rest rear seat in near perfect condition!
      will likely keep the existing lower and with the new top part. need to sort out the armrest - looks compressed

          yes it's factory stock. apparently cardinal came with red carpet for only 1 year - check post 89 for more info.

            Looks like quite the project! I feel your pain, I'm going through a similar rust battle with my first iX haha. I've got some DOTR sheet metal to go in this summer. Nice color combo too, my beater is the almost identical '88 Lach/cardinal except mine has way more rust haha.

              Thanks for the post Ray... 3 months late on the reply :-) absolutely love your build. been busy with the vert but counting the days before I start working this car. In the meantime I keep hoarding parts haha
