885 head coming together. Still need to order rocker arm shafts, rocker arms, and camshaft. Short block should be here in couple of weeks.

Thanks for all the positve feedback. The project is going slower than I would like due to it being built in my parents barn while I wait for my garage to be constructed.

This is going to be good. I have to ask, is the carphone staying? Myself, I find them to be one of the coolest things that one can have. I like them so much that I stuffed bluetooth guts in mine.

Well, Thanks to this thread it looks like when I have more money than sense, I will be buying M3 sheetmetal... Its the best option (for me anyway) because I love the look of the M3s, and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it. If I had a real E30 M3, I would be terrified I would be hit, or wreck it myself. Awesome build OP. Keep it up.

Thanks. The most challenging part of this build is finding all the parts! The actual mechanics, bodywork, paint, etc. of the build is not hard.

Need HELP finding M3 trunk hinges.

Thanks. I checked out your tire punishing E30 on TUNED. Congrats! That must have been a great accomplishment. Keep up the good work.
