    Project: Stretch your 6" to 10"

    Alright, so I've had traction issues for years. 622rwtq isn't easy to make stick to the pavement.

    So start with a stock 6" steel wheel.



    Cut it in half and add 4" so you end up with 10"







    I have yet to mount them, will need fender flares for sure. Looking at a 275/50/15 drag radial.

          why not 949 racing? the 6UL comes in 15x10 and it's not a steelie.

                          so perfect! I've been dreaming of doing the same thing with a set of 15" oem e36 wheels to make a sleeper looking wheel setup for a 5 lug swapped car.

                            How well do you think these will work? It looks awesome and I love the idea, I just thought you may have an issue with balance or symmetry. Can't wait to see them mounted.

                              This is nothing new......guys do it all the time in the hotrod/ratrod world. there are quite a few places throughout the US that will even do aluminum wheels.
