Key word 'mostly'. The cabin is more or less intact, not crumpled and mangled.

sorry you lost her dude :(

the damage is giving me flashbacks to my old e24 that also went straight into the side of an idiot, at speed.

rest up, don't wear yourself out.

    Ryan, <3.

I was in an accident at the end of my senior year of high school.
I think I showed you and Riley some photos of that while at your place last weekend, but was nothing as major as this.

Did you find it astonishing comparing the damage of your car to the Focus?
Its construction just looks so poor in such a context. I wonder how the passenger fared.

I'm actually somewhat impressed with how well it held up. Looks like damage is mostly contained to the front end. And that Ford got fucked up.

I hope you take the other driver to court, and milk her insurance of every penny.

Use this threat for proof of the work you did. Dumb drivers piss me off.

    How's that for a hit?

    Her car:

Where my head turned my concaved steering wheel into a flat steering wheel. I think I'm going to try to straighten her out flat and run in the next car. Also, I shattered my BMW momo horn button. I'm not happy about that. Those are hard to find.

I'm still unsure of the extent of underhood damage. I'm fairly certain everything from the timing cover and forward is destroyed. Pity, it was a great motor.

I shouldn't be out of bed, but I was. Drove the m3 to the police station to find my driver's license, but they don't know where it was. Drove to the tow yard where I suspected the car was to grab some personal stuff from the car. Bonus, I found my hat and sunglasses that flew off my head 50 feet from the scene. I found them in the ford focus. I also managed to save the new windshield rubber and that little plastic liner thing.

Looks like I'm building another one soon.

Damn shame, really. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Always remember you can replace a car but, you're not replaceable.
