it's a "Period Correct Reproduction" according to the seller. Will pass it on if you like... getting a read on the wife's Alpina tolerance level lol - she's the one that insisted on the Alpina wheels over Hartge and Schnitzer..

Not shipping til mid May which is weird from a US seller. If it gets here in time I'll bring it with me to Lincoln next month.

Ahh.. I guess we will see. I hope my car is done by the time your here or I may be bringing you out to the shop to see it! would be that big of a deal its not far from Lincoln.

Vintage next year I hope..

So nice to have a shop. Makes the project so much more fun and quicker to do. Seems like by the end of May this car will be back on the road!

I would say you make fast work of building an engine:). Wish I had a place to clean engine parts like you do:)

Block is oil on my stand and wrapped up. The 23rd im taking it to KC and getting it assembled. Hopefully should have my head back by then so every thing will be ready to drop in.

Man i love having access to a machine shop... Measured my cylinders to make sure they are in spec. Then hot tanked it. Next a dingle berry hone and then assembly time.

Sorry to hear the bad new's man, but on the up side of things at least when all this is done you've basically touched and repaired everything on the car so it should be a reliable car for many more years to come.
