They are just so much work to do. Like fuck I don't wanna rip my suspension out and prop my motor up on a 4x4 to change the gasket. It's not a major leak either cause one I have no puddles and two you can barley see the oil until you get around the the back side of the pan by the tranny then it looks like it was spray taned with oil.

Been wondering about the Konis.. Seems like the knowledgeable E30 vets really
swear buy them. I went back to OEM Sachs for the front inserts on my e30 vert. The billie sports were just crazy harsh in a vert. I have new billie HDs on our IX coupe and that ride is crazy harsh too.

They are high quality, that's for sure. What springs are on the IX?

I'm running Billy sports and h&r sports and it rides great. I got Koni ground control on my other car as well haven't gotten the damn thing to run so I can't say if they ride good. I know it rode well with konis in the rear. Yes that is one of the many reasons to lower your car haha. My 89 325is has the same problem with the oil pan gasket. It's pretty much non existent I'm just to lazy to rip the sub frame probably stay that way until I brake my pan lol.

Yeah, exactly. When I smashed my pan I didn't really even care because the gasket needed done anyway.

..I actually like the GC with Koni set up. I have very high spring rates (400 front/600 rear) but it rides much better then my HR sports with KYB's. More smooth.
