    If it's not the brakes causing it to run hot, try filling the radiator from the top radiator hose.

    I couldn't get the air out of my S52 calyspo swap (twinzies?) for the life of me and finally read that little tip. I drained a bit and refilled through the top radiator hose into the engine, then hooked the hose back up to the radiator. Topped off using the overflow and it totally fixed my issue.

    I measured just under 1 1/4 inches from bottom of shaft to bottom of the nut

    There is not really a set amount. What i did was measure the stock e30 booster rod and shaved mine down as close as i could to that length.

    Its a trial and error process so do a little at a time. And make sure you put a die on it before cutting so you can unthread it off after the cut and straighten out the threads that get buggered from cutting.
