ST1G's Calypsorot Metallic build
For the street, there's nothing better in my opinion. They're basically the perfect design.
That is, you can get "racing plates" from GC
or various suppliers from eBay and they will be noisy, brutal, and unforgiving on the street. The GC touring plates are quiet, comfortable, and offer plenty of adjustment, up to -3 degrees IIRCsigpic

I spoke with GC about the difference and they said the touring plates are for pansies who also hate hearing gravel noises under their car ;)Comment

If you get touring plates and use Koni sport adjs make sure you tell you order them to give you the tapered insert not the conical for the camber plates. They sent me the conical one and I had to get them switched.Comment

Thanks, I ordered kinda high spring rates on the coils. I want the car to be comfortable even though it will be stiff. For the street, there's nothing better in my opinion. They're basically the perfect design.

And what's your personal experience with them?
Thanks, I do have Koni sport adjustables. I'll make sure to specify.

I have the same question. If you're into your car being really effing noisy and feeling like it's gonna break every time you hit a bump, go for it with the race plates. GC developed the touring plates for the street and that's what my car, and I'm assuming your car, will primarily be driven on. If that makes me a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, I guess I'm a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles. And I know you know this, Stiggy, but I have experience with both plates.sigpic

I got the tourin plates to. Haven't been able to run them yet cause my cars on stands. But they seem really nice and there's more to them then the race plates. The tourin plates are just a little bit bigger then the race platesComment

Adam we both know you're a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles for reasons other reasons ;D
Guise I'm thinking I'll just make my own camber plates out of aluminum foil and magic spells. We all know GC, H&R, and alike are shitty.

Mine are sitting in the box still. GC owner only mentioned he liked them fine on the street. Sounds like some may think they're a bit harsh. I plan on harsh/loud/rattly so I chose the race plates.Comment
