Day 20 you could say I did some things. Was only there for about 4 hours. Cleaned and painted the block, put the transmission on, pressed out the rest of the RTABS and installed the new ones, and took old calipers off the used TAs. O ya and I put the motor in the car. I also drove around Pimpinwalrus' awesome home made go kart a bunch. That thing is so much fun.

Day 21 wasn't that productive. I spent forever screwing with my stupid rep headers and found out to get the second one on, with the studs already in motor, I have to drop the motor mount arm. Did all my fan wiring and my harness adapter with crimps and heat shrink. Wire wheeled and painted one of my TAs and then failed at drilling out the old set screw for a whileeee. I also test fit the radiator and need to make brackets for it as my stock one didn't really hold it still and I need to trim one of the mishimoto hoses a little shorter..

Day 22 was decently productive. Was only there a few hours. Got my headers on and bolted down, got my transmission bolted up, put a control arm on, attached my guibo to my driveshaft and torqued it to spec, put some missing bolts on, painted some stuff, drilled out the rear subframe thingy that broke off in frame, and worked on my wiring harness some. Terrible news when it came to the wiring harness though. I was sold a harness that was in a fire. Lots of melted stuff and damage. Its junk in my mind, and probably in general anyways. I now have to race to find a wiring harness.Comment

Starting it today went poorly to say the least. Was getting no switched power to the bottom starter bit so convinced myself I had put the wires on the starter wrong. 2 hours later I figured out I hadn't after a lot of screwing around. FYI its a pita to mess with those wires with the intake and all on the car... Checked harness adapter 5 speed swap wiring and a bunch of stuff. Moosehead helped me figure out the ignition switch to relay wiring was unplugged and showed me the proper way to do the 5 speed wiring. I plugged it in and turned the key and it was constantly cranking in accessories and then nothing. Only light on the cluster is the battery light now. No ABS, lining, or service lights etc. The blue shell had a starting problem before. Going to test ignition switch tomorrow.
Also been spending time putting other parts of the car back together. Rear end (lolllll), cooling system, and stuff like that.Comment
