I love M10 builds! I actually have some high compression pistons along with a MLS headgasket for a build that will never happen. I will give you a great deal on them. Im in SoCal, so no shipping to deal with.



I was told if its hard to get out the shaft is probably bent, or worse the head might be warped.

How much are you looking for for that mls headgasket? I am in need of one!

On my side of the pond I can get a great deal straight from Wössner. And I did, actually. :)

Yes I'm starting to love these builds too!! I'm actually pretty interested if you want to shoot me an email with some info!! Bradsindoni96@gmail.com and great ... The head is probably fucked, I mean I did get it free and yesterday I did notice a crack towards the top where I can't the shaft out and I believe the crack is from it being stuck trying to force it out... Thank you for the help!!

If you are taking the head to a machine shop, they can confirm if its warped or not. Usually they can skim it flat, but then you still have the problem with the rocker shaft, so I dunno... fingers crossed.

Its almost complete actually. But i just lost my job so it is coming to a hault for the time being..

Yeah I got them all off, I just can't get the other side out, one of the rockers arms is broken so I need to get the rockers off

Looks really good! You already have everything planned out for the turbo? When are you going to start the build?

Yeah I got them all off, I just can't get the other side out, one of the rockers arms is broken so I need to get the rockers off

Got the cam out, really wasn't to difficult it's just a pain in the ass to get the rockers off and out of the way. Still can't get the other side out, tried just about everything

Awesome, gonna get working on it right now. I appreciate the help my man. Will make sure everything is marked so I know where it all goes. What did you do to the head? Rebuild ?

Rebuilt with some mild port work, lapped the valves, new stem seals, rocker shaft hardware, rocker locks to get rid of the springs, hd valve springs and chromoly retainers.

This is off topic and nitpicking, but the M10's successor was the M40 engine ;)

We don't like to talk about the M40, it being crap and all. :up:
