So I finally got the car cut and polished. And I installed my side trim. I will be taking more pics this weekend...

That's a good looking color combination! I've been thinking of something similar (gray) on my project and while looking at your car I think it'd be a good choice :)

So i've put about 400 miles on the car so far, and I Love it! Today I decided to tape everything off and paint the trim since I installed popout windows that had chrome.

I used duplicolor trim/bumper paint. Hopefully it lasts a while, if not I might wrap all the trim. I still have a few items to pick up from paint, and I need to drop it off for a cut and polish job.

I got the cooling issue fixed today, and officially drove on the freeway! Motor pulls nicely and the 3.15 diff is perfect. I was scared something would go wrong, but everything went fine. I should be getting back my mtech wing and skirts tomorrow so thats what I'm installing next.

I want to bar the car but its not a priority right now since I will be moving out of CA before smog is due, and I am trying to get it to bimmerfest bagged which I haven't even started:(

so... I spilled gasoline on my phone and now my camera takes shitty pictures, but here are some updates
I took the car to get aligned and it drove great! it was about a ten mile drive round trip but on the way back I heard some slight grinding. I assumed I popped a tire and pulled over to check it out, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I was abut to get on the freeway but I decided not to, which was a decision that saved my life. Nearly a mile from my destination my differential seized at about 40mph and I skid about 40ft turning the car in a complete 180...

I managed to control the car without getting hit or ending up on top of a curb! The officer who responded to the scene really liked my car and even had the tow truck driver wave all of the extra fees. I was just thankful I wasn't in an accident especially when it was the third time driving the car.
So I needed a new diff and came across a 3.15LSD out of a z3m coupe

I installed the diff and began finishing my interior. I installed a black leather shift/ebrake boot set from ebay.de to match up with my nardi wheel and shift knob. I also added the ///M sticker to the wheel to cover up an imperfection.

I installed my powdercoated strut bar

I planned on taking the car home and driving it this weekend, but the m42 radiator started leaking out of the bottom of the coolant reservoir:hitler: Hopefully the series of unfortunate events will come to an end but until then I haven't lost motivation...

I am still waiting on my sideskirts, front lip, and mtech1 piece from paint which should be here friday. I also need to install my side trim, and airlift setup.

I used two coats of gloss black plastic paint, then once it dried I used two light coats of rustoleum fender well paint.
