Car fired up first try, which was such a relief! I installed the new m42 radiator with the rest of the cooling hoses and tucked my harness through the fender well.



installed my pusher fan and wired it to the radiator coolant temp sensor

I also installed my dusty fenders because I couldn't wait any longer:)

and the front end also fell into place

New euro grills, kidneys, and bmwcca badge (which is was moved into the right position shortly after) and ellipsoid headlights

I pulled my reupholstered trophy seats out of the old car and installed them in the freshly painted shell with trash bags covering them


I installed some all red tails I got off my buddy Jack (THANKS Homie!), euro plate filler, plus measured and cut out the single exhaust opening to fit a dual one

Next week I am installing a new temp sensor, since the one I have is toast, and towing it to an exhaust shop. I will be running obd1 manifolds to aftermarket cats with a magna flow out back. I plan to ref the car then add headers and stuff sometime after. I still need to lower it, install skid plate, side skirts, and get it aligned. Also I need to fix my brake setup since it feels weird. I am running e21 booster with girling maser and no abs. I have bled them twice, but they still don't feel right.

Oh and I bought this nardi with a matching shift knob a while back which is waiting on a new hub :devil:

Yes I am very close! I just want to enjoy driving an e30… thanks to the crash with the first car I've only spent maybe 5000 miles behind the wheel in one

Love that color. The nardi is pretty sweet too

By far my favorite color! I don't like metallic colors because they just don't shine as well to me, and a lot of bmw colors are metallic. I almost went with henna, but I wanted a color that would be a little different from most. I know it's not a bmw color, but at least its still off a euro car lol

As far as the Nardi, I have only seen one other like it on ebay which I was out bid for. But after lots of searching I found that gem.

Got my hood on with new insulation foam, and my s50 engine cover. I wanted to test my new coolant sensor but my battery needed charging...

So today the car is getting dropped off for an exhaust. Hopefully I can drive it back when its done!

However my alignment was all screwed up. so I have to make some adjustments before driving it.
