In loving memory of my ds1's and soon to be recycled Jetta lip.

Do I finish building the RS's? Or do I make my m52 a stroker s52 clone?
    1st world country problems.

Keep us updated on how the mounting for those bumpers work. Those are the kind without mounting tabs, am I correct? I plan on running the cheapo replicas for my track car and plan on riveting the reps to the old bumper. Very interested in seeing whats to be done!
Yes these don't have mounting tabs, I'll have to figure out how to make them work here soon.

I'm glad I'm running reps because I would be scared to drive my car if it was a real mt2 kit.

Also, thanks for the kind words!

    updates/more teasers.

Got rid of my ds1's because one of the wheels cracked and because I change wheels every month.

So I picked these E38 style 5's up.

Got this rear duraflex mtech 2 bumper for close to nothing along with the front which needs repair.

The front is 2 piece which leads me to believe its not duraflex, but some kind of european replica.

Already have a lead on some skirts and maybe a spoiler.
I'd like the kit to be painted and my RS's finished for this years picnic.

I found this "personal" wheel with a Momo hub, I threw it on to change things up for a bit.

Rattle-canned the rear valence since I won't be buying a rear skirt for a long time, also notice the MT1 spoiler.

I picked up a Thule roof rack, winter tires for the rear, deleted my side markers, installed a mk3 jetta lip and headed to Portland for a week.

    Here are some updates.
I got kinda tired of the RC090's so I drove to a town in central Idaho to sell them to a friend.
During the trip my car lost 6 qts of oil, later I figured out that this was due to missing timing case bolts. Lulz

Before selling the RC's I picked up a set of ds1's from my friend which I put to good use for a while.
I'm running 205/40 all seasons in the front and 215/55 snow tires in the rear.
While heading home from the trip I stopped at a local junkyard and found these BMP sideskirts.

Never the less my car kept spewing out tons of oil, so I changed my oil pan drain bolt seal, oil level sensor seal and I fixed a broken stud that wouldn't let it tighten down to the pan fully, and dip stick deal.
That helped fix a majority of the leakage but it looks like I'm still leaking thru the dipstick seal.

I have a lot more updates, I'm just waiting for my dslr battery charger to come in from Amazon so I can get quality posts in.
