I went for my first drive tonight and I'm very stressed out now.
I drove like a grandma for 2-4 miles and then I started giving it some gas, and I did 2-3 easy downshifts and the clutch was slipping.
It is a SPEC stage 2, lightened/resurfaced flywheel, new TOB and pilot bearing.
Should I drive it like a grandma for a few hundred miles and see if that helps seat the clutch to the flywheel properly or have I toasted my clutch?

I finally buttoned up all my wiring, and started the car.
Having my harness modified by Kadunza was definitely a game changer.
Welded up my 2nd o2 sensor because I couldn't fit it on the header bung.
(the welds are crappy, but they work.)
My Dad welded up the rest of the exhaust and everything looks great.
Specs are full 2.5' piping with eBay headers, aero resonator, and a gutted cat.
Here is how it sounds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqNXSfCDEJI
All I have left to do is
- finish mounting my skidplate.
- bleed clutch and brakes.
- bleed power steering.Leave a comment:

Welded the oil pump nut and threw the e34 pan up.
Ended up mating the g260 along with the lightened flywheel, spec stage 2 clutch.
But I forgot the pilot bearing so I pulled the motor out.
I threw a new pilot bearing inside, but before I did I decided to do a bit of shaving and repainting.
Motor waiting to go in, I cleaned up the transmission and wrapped the headers too.
Motor sitting in on condor 24v swap mounts, and custom mount spacers I made.

Alright, I just really want the peace of mind.
I plan on roadtripping the car and want to run as cool as possible.Leave a comment:

My car is obd1 so Im guessing things are a bit different. Im unable to assist you there.
Dont worry about having it be your primary fan though. Im in minnesota, which is pretty comparable weather to you. And I only need to use my aux fan, even in traffic, maybe 3 months out of the year.Leave a comment:

I won't be running AC so I might aswell ditch the condenser.
How hard is it to install the e36 m42 switch unto the aux fan?
I'd like it to start cooling a bit sooner if it's going to be my primary fan.Leave a comment:
