The original owner got in touch with me to see if I wanted two extra keys, brand new dealership keychains, more mainteance documents, the original paper license plate and some other random tid-bits. I of course said, yes!

Well! After waiting for a whole freaking week I got my new intake book and intake actuator. I promptly installed them both!

The results? Intake actuator start test approved!

The real results were AMAZING. The car pulls much harder and is far more responsive. Word on the street is that a working actuator is worth 30hp :D

More vacuum line investigation-- Turns out I don't have any vacuum leaks but rather a broken actuator diaphragm. New parts will be here next Thursday! Looking forward to getting Scully 100% again. Getting this actuator working is supposedly good for 30 hp.

Hey dude I'm in the process of replacing that exact bracket on my e32, but it's not latching onto the features on the body side. The little plastic tabs dont grab onto the square feature. Did you have this problem? Any tips?

Edit: Nvm, I filed down the back of the square holes a bit and it clicked right in.

Yea, I read from a few people had issues using a non-OEM piece for this. Sounds like you figured it out.



I'll be at the Picnic on Sunday with this boat if anyone wants to see the faded paint or torn seats in person. ;D

I just put PSS's on my wife's MINI. For a street tire, they freakin rock!

^ Obviously it was out with the old [tires]. Which were disgusting and 100% unsafe they were so worn out.


So, (drum roll please) I splurged and got myself a set of Michelin PSSs!!! I've never been more excited about a set of tires in my life. These are INCREDIBLE. Worth every damn penny!
