Nothing compares to an old E34 M5 to me. Oh god , thanks for saving this one and keeping it OEM. I daily an old 93 525i to work , and it is the best for doing that in. I cant imagine having one with that S38 in it. Last of the hand built M cars in Garching and tank like build quality makes the E34 M5 a must own car for me. Those other BMWs at that meet cant even come close to the coolness of it. I did new front control arms with Powerflex Urethane bushings, which I was suspect of being too harsh, but they are perfect.Comment

^ Obviously it was out with the old [tires]. Which were disgusting and 100% unsafe they were so worn out.
So, (drum roll please) I splurged and got myself a set of Michelin PSSs!!! I've never been more excited about a set of tires in my life. These are INCREDIBLE. Worth every damn penny!

I just put PSS's on my wife's MINI. For a street tire, they freakin rock!

Hey dude I'm in the process of replacing that exact bracket on my e32, but it's not latching onto the features on the body side. The little plastic tabs dont grab onto the square feature. Did you have this problem? Any tips?
Edit: Nvm, I filed down the back of the square holes a bit and it clicked right in.Last edited by pandaboo911; 06-21-2016, 08:29 PM.

Yea, I read from a few people had issues using a non-OEM piece for this. Sounds like you figured it out.Hey dude I'm in the process of replacing that exact bracket on my e32, but it's not latching onto the features on the body side. I'll be at the Picnic on Sunday with this boat if anyone wants to see the faded paint or torn seats in person. ;D-Nick

Nice work on the cowl trim too. I'm doing like the same stuff you're doing haha. Except I got a tired m30 lump instead of the s38

New roundels! Wow, such a "little" detail really makes the car look a 1,000,000x better. I'm happy.
I hope to see some of you guys this weekend at the Picnic.

I envy and appreciate four things here:
Your car
Your taste in cleanliness
Your geographic location
Your crater lake plate
My sis is a snowboarder and spends her summers in Govy. When I go out to visit, I am in awe.
Keep up the great work!Comment

^ Thanks man! Portland is an amazing place to live.
More vacuum line investigation-- Turns out I don't have any vacuum leaks but rather a broken actuator diaphragm. New parts will be here next Thursday! Looking forward to getting Scully 100% again. Getting this actuator working is supposedly good for 30 hp.

Here are some pics of the beast I took at the 2016 E30 Picnic. I've never had the pleasure of taking pictures of my own car parked on grass. :devillook
