    THMotorsports personal project e30

We are relatively new on here and I just wanted to share what I'm personally working on! I've had this care for a few months now and have been fixing little things to start. Plans are to boost the m20 in it since it's healthy. Car is rough to look at but she's fun and my goal was really to be a sleeper car. Rough on the outside, built underneath it all! Suggestions and feedback are wanted!

Orange skirts are definitely not sleeper status!

Get an IS lip for your late model front end. It's possible to adapt a late model rear bumper for an early model car as well. That way you could run the bumpers front and rear.

I'm torn on bumpers. I have a front one laying around, but obviously haven't put it on yet. Rear, i can't decide what i want to do... The side skirts will be painted this weekend (weather permitting).

Bring me memories of my 87's 325is that I turned it into a 3.0L turbo m20 when you talk about to boost it. Just make sure to update the coolant system to late model!

They are some e21 side skirts according to the guy i bought the car off of. Unfortunately, they are riveted on. So if i ever decide to change things up, I'll have to find a kit that would cover all the rivet holes.

Well I had some time to work on the car this weekend. Cleaned it up and got the skirts painted flat black. The whole car will be going flat black at some point.

Please do not paint the car flat black. IMO only one e30 has ever looked good in a flat/non gloss black finish and that was Matt (mr 325's) swapped car. All the others just look like an unfinished primer job.

Just my opinion of course! The rest of the build looks killer keep it up!

I have alot to work on. Right now I have a front bumper laying around, but just haven't touched it up or painted it yet. I'm also looking for a sheet metal fabricator locally to see if I can have some customer bumpers made. I have an idea in my head that I think would look really good.

Yea I'm sort of torn as to what I would like to do with it. Part of me says do some body work and wrap it, the other part of me says don't bother. We will see as time passes.

No, the person I bought the car from had these on there. They are Rota's :(
