    My project Durty 30

What's up everyone. Just bought my 87 325e for $750. Just joined here and can't wait to get started on this thing. I got a pretty solid list so far and I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or anything I should add to the list. Planning on keeping it pretty simple, with mostly suspension mods.

    Immediate goals [emoji1373]:

    Valve cover gasket

    Oil pan gasket

    Spark plugs (suggestions??)

    Ignition rotor

    Ignition coil

    New window motors

    Short ram intake (suggestions??)

    Steering guibo

    Brakes

    And various interior bits

    Eventually:
    New carpet
    New seats
    New dash
    Coilovers
    Front/rear sway
    All poly bushings.

Not my first euro but it's my first BMW. I'm open to all advice

    Welcome.

Get stock, normal plugs in silver or copper.
Don't bother with the ram/short/cold air intake.
Get a distributor cap too. While there check the resistance of the wires.
Check your window switches first, they are frequently the issue.

Thanks for the input. Hopefully these forums are more helpful than the vw ones haha. All they do is talk down on each others projects. The Windows work, they're just extremely slow going up.

replaced the spark plugs with NGK ZGR5A, the platinum ones...misfire at idle is gone, but im still getting a loss of power and not sure what to check next
maybe: dirty throttle body? clogged cat? bad ignition coil? bad ignition rotor/cap? she runs and drives like a dream, but i can feel like shes not getting all of her power out. i can feel that theres more in there haha.

Also have a ghost leak that I can't seem to find...engine oil on the tranny crossmember. Only wondering because my exhaust is burning it off and it's enough to make some smoke

              any suggestions appreciated
