Spent today with the pressure washer, I want everything mechanical on this car to be pristine.

Also picked up a hoist, super good deal and about to pull the m10 turd, and get started swapping parts on my m42s. So much work to do

Should be a fun swap. Are the trailing arms drum brakes?

Patina car used to be yours? I had those same wheels on my car for a while after drooling over them on that car for years.

I'm really stoked about it!! I haven't even checked yet there's a 325i at the wrecking yard with rear disks they pretty easy to swap in?

Nahh that's not my car just something I'm going off of.

Got the 3.64 diff out today to get it welded, finished taking apart the parts m42. Block is completely blown to hell heres what the oil pump looked

Looks like a fun project. I've always wanted to own an early model 318i. For the dash I'd look into flocking it if you haven't already.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest, but I would assume you would need the trailing arms and probably the master cylinder. If you search you should be able to find someone who has swapped to disk brakes in the rear.

This is my 2nd one, my last e30 was a euro spec 318..I'm still kicking myself for not keeping the euro bumpers. Got it for super cheap from an car flipper that didn't know what he had
