        Adjusted the valve clearance today. First time since the rebuild and holy shit it's so much better.... I'm sure there is some placebo effect involved here, but the engine noise is Definitely much quieter and the thing just gets on it so smooth. I always noticed a little hesitation between shifts, but now it's like no problem at all. 5th gear is actually usable and my cruising mpg went from about 25 to 30 range. Very pleased.
