I spy an E39. Are you holding out on us?
Also, what do you think about painting the needles on the analog click to match your gauges?

Finally got it lowered, this time with just basic H&R Sport springs (previously gc coils, then e30m3 springs, then 325i springs).
It could be 1/2" - 3/4" lower but for a DD this is fine, not too low and better than stock.

Also replaced the HVAC panel with another one in better condition, along with A/C switch.

Four matching lock cylinders are with a local locksmith along with a master key cut from the car's vin, once I get them back I'll get them installed.Last edited by Jean; 09-13-2008, 04:49 PM.Leave a comment:

el bob - Can't do, we have to deal with SMOG here so it wouldn't be legal :(
Gave it a bath and finally got the seatbelts swapped and installed new seat belts buckles.
Thanks Blunt and Levent!

seat / belt buckle

Pretty straight forward to do, after you remove the back seat and panels. A total of four 17mm bolts to remove and one plastic seat belt guide clip.

Side by side show for reference, older vs newer style belts.

The b-pillar covers are also different as well.

Finally..

You're going to sell her?!? NOOO. Once you slap on those Mtech 1 pieces Im sure you'll change your mind.
How much did the Belt Buckles and Mtech 1 steering wheel badge go for?Leave a comment:

She won't be up for sale until I get her lowered, put a new top end (rebuilt head, cleaned up manifold, tb, injectors, oil pans are sitting on the shelf just need to order new gasket kits) and throw m-tech1 front/rear valances on her. Maybe then I'll change my mind ...Leave a comment:

How much are you going to sell her for? I wouldn't mind purchasing it, as is..I would have to sell my car first though..Leave a comment:

Got the overhead panel swapped for a mint one, original one had the vinyl seperating from the board in places.
Before:

After:

M-techI wheel, thanks Bruce!

Shot of basic interior, with dirty carpet, I need to clean it.

Washed it, need to polish and wax still to get rid of the water spots...maybe next week.

Works fine. I've had headunits that cost more than an e30 (ampless alpine with 24bit burbrown dacs) but this does everything it needs to do just fine for $150.Leave a comment:
