Jacked the front end of the car up today and bled the system, had air in it for sure. Now the temp gauge is stuck dead in the center at 1/2 even with heater off :)

I am still using my A/C fan infront of the radiator.... I have been doing the same with my previous engine (have a spare fan if it fails lol).

Car so far is driving good, 1st gear is almost useless, rips through 2nd and chirps 3rd as well hehe. I am using s3.73 right now, and maybe I'll give 3.25 or 3.46 a try.

It's nice to have torque w/o having to redline the engine (aka m10).... can deff. get in trouble with how fast it accelerates though.

I re-used my z3 1.9 shifter and installed new shifter components (the front selector rod joint, the rear mount, and the plastic cup), m20 shift rod and carrier. The m20 shift rod end was too "long" so I had to use a couple plastic/metal washers to minimize the play.

My old sheet metal console had less side to side play for sure.

Sweet. More stuff to get on my yard run.

You used the stock e30 shift carrier and linkage, right?

M30 Power FTW!!! Pulls like a train. 1st goes by quick. Used an e28 535i lower radiator hose and it's about 1/2" longer than the e32/e34 hose. Used my m10 temp sender for cluster and it's working. Will order a new sender for my late model cluster. I need to fix my late model cluster as the tach is off. All gauges work though :) Also need to extend the radiator fan switch wires as the ones in my car are on the driver side.

I think there is air in the system, it seems like the temp gauge goes up and then down, and up and down. I'll try and jack the front end up and see if air bubbles come out of the bleeder screw.

Holland - I just picked up my copy of the police report from that accident (pretty straight forward with the other party being 100% at fault) and have a court date next month. It will get fixed after the court date, as I don't want it to affect anything.

PM me on the 92s :) I will need some 15" wheels for my dot r tires sooner or later.
I'll let you know when I get my B's on. Before then I will do a bit more refinishing work on them.

I still like those 92's on your car. I might be getting rid of them soon if you do get interested.

BTW, were you able to get dent fixed?

Nice work, Jean. I think you and I came to e30s at about the same time and we're both doing swaps at the same time. Kinda funny. Nice job prepping the m30, it looks like new! nice transformation.

Damn...I had no idea you were thinking of the M30. That's my all time dream set-up.

Freaking car is stunning. Can't wait to see it running and hook-up that AC. Everyone neglects the A/C.
