Oem is 400, one from eurostop is 1/2 price.

Finally got rid of the shitty early speaker shelf, grabbed one from my 89. The early chassis does not even have the studs to mount the 3rd brake light onto, so it's pressure fitted for now. I am still trying to confirm if the e30m3 shelf (no 3rd brake light) curves like the regular e30 shelfs before I order one of those.

    $6

I have another one with premium speakers and the top mounted 3rd brake light, but it's tan, and I didn't want to paint the speakers....so this will do for now.

Damn Jean, this is coming along. How much is the rear valance going to run?

Well, I ordered new euro bumper molding and misc items, so sometime next week I should have the bumpers and valance on the car test fitted at least.

I really hope to find a different front valance that doesn't require an early style lower lip that bolts on to it... as I'll be ordering a new rear valance as well.

If you don't, I'll come over there and 'borrow' them from you!

(really though, I"m looking for a front valence and a rear euro bumper)

((you should install them. Euro bumpers are hawt on early bodies))

Thanks Noel! It's becoming a DD, so the engine will just be refreshed to oem specs with new gaskets and such but not looking to get the most hp out of it. I bought the 2nd e30 for power and fun :)

If you're still thinking about which way to go with the engine, you might want to check this out: http://m10racer.com/default.aspx The 318i is a fun lightweight car. That's what makes these things so fun to drive. Stay with the m10 and keep it light and nimble. Won't that add to the satisfaction when you beat the big engine guys? Beautiful car!

The belt buckles on the car a faded and stick, that's the reason for new ones but they don't fit yet as they are the wrong style (they fit my 89). The z3 1.9 lever is about perfect. One with the shortest lever above the ball in the picture does not mean it will have the shortest throw. Read through the long shift lever thread, it's got a lot of good info :)
