I loved the s2k, it was fun but perfect as 2nd car not a DD imho.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know how I survived with mine for 3 years as a DD. The e30 is such a joy to drive in comparison...

The 03 s2k was my brothers car for about 4 years, it's gone now and e39 540i replaced it :)

Ah, I saw a couple pics in this thread with an S parked next to your car. Family member's? I bought my e30 about a year ago as a DD and my S2000 is now reserved for track duty. I love what you're doing with your car!

I am using a s3.73 with my M10 and it helps with acceleration, top speed is still above 125+ , so it works out fine.

Hopefully if my rebuilt head sells I'll be picking the m30b35 up this weekend.

When is the swap going to happen? Oh and what LSD are you running on your m10? I'm looking to get off of the 3.91 open diff and maybe run a 4.10 or 3.73, but I haven't heard much of how well they work with an m10.

I was wondering why I could smell gas in the mornings.... this fuel rail to cold start valve hose was shot. I thought maybe it was an o-ring at the FPR as I recently replaced the FPR.



it didn't leak bad as the crack/cut was on the inner side of the bend, but as soon as I moved it it was obvious... replaced it and all is good for now.



P.S. m10 is going bye bye , say hello to 3.5L of displacement.

You inspire me to make my 318i m10 look like yours. I really want a moonroof like yours. When installing it please use detailed pics so i can see how exactly you installed it. I am saving up for a moonroof right now. Like I said, LOVE your car!

Thanks! I've been using 10w40, will give 20w50 a shot once engine is replaced.
