Jean. I think that block wins a prize for the most cracks in one block. WTF?

Wow...sorry to hear about the cracked block!

If you need it, I've got an extra m3 shift assembly depending on the tranny you're using.

Good luck. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Wow, that's bad. Now it needs that M30. Good luck with the swap.

Well, this was a long day.

Plan was to replace the old head and all gaskets and install new injectors while I am at it. Car has been running hotter than usual lately so I figured head and/or head gasket.

Had a good head on hand, along with the gasket kit and injectors. Started at around 11am today.

    Good head

    Good injectors

Old head (original, po must have never changed oil)

Head off, geting ready to pull the rest.

    Oh hello there surprise.

    Block cracked in many places.

    Large picture here http://www.briangt.com/gallery/album...4/IMG_5280.jpg

Installed my spare manifold/tb/tps with new gaskets and injectors

Seems to be running at 1/2 center now, but it's just a matter of time now before it fails again..

Gotta find a radiator/hoses and order a clutch kit for my m30 swap ASAP.

Nothing, I am waiting on the tranny/flywheel/driveshaft/mounts. Then I still need to get a proper radiator and all the hoses and make an exhaust. I just need to get the m10 running for a few more months.

No major updates yet, but for now a little bit of inexpensive maint. to get it running a little better for a couple more months as I need to make sure car is running in tip/top condition before I get the last few things to do the b35 swap. Car has been running on a hotter side, and I am tired of having to keep the heat on full.

    Head gasket kit arrived

really cheap from autohausaz, I think it was under $50

    what's included :

Since I'll be pulling / replacing the head and all the gaskets, I figured this would be perfect timing to replace the old/tired original fuel injectors. I picked up a set of injectors and shipped them over to Cruzin Performance for a full service.

I'll replace the intake manifold and tb at the same time, these are from a spare engine I picked up a long time ago.

I think my driveshaft is on the way out, rear u-joint is sticking, hopefully it won't blow up for the next couple of months. I don't want to do anything with it since it will have to be replaced with a proper driveshaft when the m30b35 gets installed.
