I'm very fortunate to own my m3, but I could never drive and enjoy it like I do my 325.

The car is officially in PA with my Father! He is very excited about the project, and I will try to continue to update from his end (expect picture quality to decrease).

    Before she left:

Back in PA after a quick rinse. Looks like it's going to clean up VERY nice.

Do you folks know how the m3 fuse box differs from a normal e30, if at all?

Looks like the p/n for the center section is the same on both, so I assume the rest would be?

Plus couple of individual colors. Like Lagoongreen (266), Matthesblue (BASF FE 97-5972 ) Black (086) Mauritiusblue (287) Those were certainly used M3 convertible.

Awesome, that's all very good to know.

Congrats on the purchase. It's gotta be so awesome! Now I guess all you need to do is put an S54 in there. ;)
To my knowledge they came in eight colors! But I'm not 100% sure how many of these came to the US.

    Alpine White
    Alpine White II
    Henna Red
    Cinnabar Red
    Brilliant Red
    Salmon Silver metallic
    Sterling Silver metallic
    Diamond Black metallic

Bahaha that'd be cool in a different chassis I think. To me, this car deserves nothing but an S14. And maybe an S38 if the S14 were totally trashed and deemed useless. But since it already has a functioning S14 I don't think I'll change that.

Now the iS on the other hand........aluminum LSjuan is coming in the next few years.

Thanks, Joe! It really is quite the thrill- a stressful but rewarding experience. The car is getting sent back to PA where my Father is going to do some clean up while I buy a house and get some more garage space (and because he's bored and loves these cars as much as we all do but won't purchase one).

So updates will be slow at first until I have time to fly home, refresh the drivetrain and drive it back to Indiana to start the restoration process.
