Got the new shocks installed, sway bar with IE reinforcements. But the most photogenic item was the vent windows, rear panels, and the rear seat, complete with bitching seat belts.

Just go slow, and take your time. They're made of aluminium and can break easily.

Mine are slightly bent here and there, and it's easy to straighten them out with a little work, and besides, the clips will hold them in place once they're back on the car.

There's a great guide on E30Zone Wiki about how to remove them, I used that and it was pretty simple.

Weather was great, so got a lot of cleaning and painting done.

    Painted the pop out windows.

I had plans to replace all the diff seals and paint the housing, but it cleaned up really well, doesn't leak, and since it only takes minutes to remove, I'll send it as-is (admittedly I'm getting near the end and want to hurry things up a bit.)

Got the underside of the rear coated and ready to receive it's new rear end.

Thanks man. I've been using your thread as reference!

Fortunately the PO (with my help) installed the new gas tank and re-worked all the fuel lines. All I need to replace are a few small ones to the overflow tank in the wheel well. Not having to drop the tank will save me a lot of time.

Got the rear end out, taking all the parts to a shop to have the bearings and bushings pressed out of.

One axle is fucking stuck, even with a jaw puller, and heat on it, it wouldn't budge.

Also, got the UUC calipers on.

Thanks! I was stoked to find out I could get them redone, in orange, for less than other places were charging.

I took the day off from the car to rest, but I had to try sometime after seeing a few DIY videos.

It wasn't too bad at all, now I need my lockstrip tool to come in.

I wonder this myself. When I bought the car it had several missing pieces of interior trim, and solid engine mounts. I'm hoping with everything in, harder than stock, but not solid mounts, and extra sound deadening I'll be able to hear music from the stereo I put in.
