Pulled the transmission, cleaned it up, replaced all the seals, it definitely was leaking and needed it. Replaced the rear main, I'll do the front seals next weekend.

Got an 8lb. Flywheel to mate up to a Clutch Masters FX250, should be perfect for the street and back roads blasting.

Test fit the wheels, car sits up high, and doesn't settle well, that and no weight make it look like a lifted 4wd.

So many small updates, I'll break them up into individual posts.

Got the cam, springs, and rockers in, brought them to the machine shop Tuesday, I'll pick up the head completed tomorrow.

I looked at the two, and opted to get the Schrick from Bimmerworld. I didn't even see an option for a regrind.
For $470 it fucking better be new.

Got the double springs and upgraded rockers from Bimmerheads.

I wasn't planning on doing a cam but, alas, here I am.

Looking at a 272 Shrick, but, open to suggestions.
I opted to save a bit of money and used the billet Ireland Engineering/Bimmerheads 272 (very similar to schrick specs) in my build, and it's been fantastic so far. Broke in just like it should, power is very strong. I'd recommend.

    Just don't get a regrind.

Nothing right now, clean it up, and get it running as well as I can.

I looked into performance heads and cams, but the costs are too great to justify when looking at the HP/TQ bumps. The M20 is pretty stout from the factory.

    My thought exactly.

I have a black wrinkle finish one I'm going to install.
I'm trying to find an intake manifold to match, but I might just have to get it powder coated locally.
