Maybe paint the strut brace bar to match? That would be sick, I noticed the Estoril E30 had a painted strut brace bar, it would be titties!
Where did you get your Mosley DTM Mirrors? I am now in the market to get a set. You should look into wide convex rear-view mirrors, they're cheap and definitely help when you have small mirrors like that!Reminiscing...

Mike, I've been watching things progress, and I must say....This thing is turning out gorgeous. It's not so over-the-top that it looks ridiculous, even in that shade of Orange.
Anyway, the chicken wire isn't there for good is it??

yeah, When I pull the front bumper tomorrow to install the EVO II lip, I will spray it black. I didnt really dig it anymore either after I put the bumper back on.
I bought the mirrors- actually the wife- from Mosley motorsports out of england. she bought them for me years ago as a B-Day gift. They werent cheap, and the finish wasnt that great. I think you can get the Carbon fiber ones from marcus for the same price now, if not cheaper these days.
As far as my strut bar goes......... It is an original AC Schnitzer polished alluminum bar, with the orig. still intact sticker(in perfect shape)- I will not even think about painting it!!!!!!!!! Daves car has a steel bar, thats why he painted his I think. I painted my rear strut tower bar black though.
thanks for all the compliments once again. I am just so happy that the body is imaculate now!!!! every single panel on the car had a little something before, and it used to drive me nutz!
Hope you all are enjoying the thread, its kinda cool to show what i have been busy with.

I'd go back to Germany just to see the car in person, and the trip would already be worth it.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

here is the oldest pic I have of the car. I had already done a bunch of stuff to it, but a good comparison.
here it is in probably the saddest shape of its life.
my 2nd biggest helper! She doent like the car as much, since it stole a whole lot of time from her lately- but she says she will still roll to the shows with me in it!
And I got more help than i could ever imagine from Rainer(Troll)- my German buddy, who was there helping, sometimes more than me. We are already into the planning steps of his project!!!!! He wanted an old skool 6er, but is diggin E30s now, and we are trying to pick up a project 1986 Vert that he wants to redo now!!!! Should be starting in a few weeks!
best quote was--translated into english-- "WOW, I never thought it was going to start again after we took it apart so far."-- after it fired on the FIRST TRY!!!!
