E30 project. Engine Conversion etc

Already have a 3.46 LSD in the E30 from a E28 M5 I think.



E32 has the factory 3.46 too i believe, but a single spinner.





Excuse the wiring mess I'm leaving it 'rough' for the moment to see if I can't get things like consumption etc to work. Unfortunately my OBC doesn't appear to have the 'adjustment/calibration' functions though.

I have a spare open 3.46 also, I wasn't aware they aren't a common ratio?

No 1/4's yet, I'll be taking the 7 out as soon as I fix the tyre wear on the rear. It's chewing inside edges so not getting the power down like it should.

3.46's are kinda common, i have a 3.46 slippery in the e30.

Cheers :) I've changed the 7's stereo slightly since those images with some good results... I'm currently experitmenting with the tweeters on the dash firing up and out from the std mid locations and also running the subs in infinite baffle alignment.

JoeyJoeJ0 :- As Firestorm mentioned the top photo is the E30 bay(bit out there) and the bottom photo the E32's bay(factory look).

E30 now resides back under my house :) No outside shots yet as I'm storing the car until I can transport it to my workshop to reassemble it.
