Looking good man, why did you drop the engine w/o a tranny though ? I thought it was easier to do it in one shot so that you don't have to strugle with the top engine-to-tranny bolts ?

Most definitely, Jonathan. I would love to have it ready for OFest, but that isn't going to happen, unless we are talking about OFest '08.

Ok, got the pictures cropped and uploaded for all to see. MUHUHAHAHAHA!!!

    Here ya go.

The obligatory in the engine compartment pic.

    The stare down.

    Ready to go!

    WOOOHOOOOHOOOOEOOEHDODHODOJNBKXFJHLKH!!!!!!

I give it a thumbs up.

I'm tired, so it looked like this when I left.

So, that's where I am at.

I made that motor my BITCH!!
Didn't want to go in at first and had to mess with the motor mounts, but it is most definitely in. I still need to shim it up some due to the headers are hitting the fender well, but that is for tomorrow. Right now it is beer time and a time to look at it in awe.
I am still at work/the shop so I will upload the pictures as soon as I get them onto my computer and resize them.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I feel like a little kid that just got a big ass bag of candy and was told to have at it.
    HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH!!

    Thanks.

Got the front suspension done. Wheels look tits (even without tires) just sitting there bolted to the spindles.
I'm just double checking everthing right now before the motor goes. I went and checked the cam timing to make sure it was as close as I could get it, making sure everything is bolted down properly and isn't going to come off after I put it in and go to start it up, I cleaned up the engine bay by removing the old P/S reservoir and charcoal canister, made sure the body wiring harness was out of the way, etc. etc.

Now it's time, boys and girls, for that bitch to go to its HOME!!!!

    Updates...YAY!
    No pictures ATM....BOO!

I've got the front driver's suspension finished and converted to E30M3 5-lug. I'm in the middle of doing the passenger side and should have it done in about half an hour or something, then I'm getting lunch and going to get my camera for pictures of the engine insertion!
I've found a local dealer for Spec clutches, I'm going to order a Spec Stg. 3 from them. It's coming along slowly.

hahah oops! I forgot you are gonna run a NV M50.

I sold him that intake cam! UPS broke the exhaust cam. When that idea went south I sold the intake cam to Serge.
