I'm way bigger than an m10. Or, an s52 for that matter. If I make the car robotic, I can utilize that weight savings.

      F'n rust FTL!!!

At least it's not in a high load/stress area.

Test fit.... Ok, Ok, I'm just a bit nancy. (antsy)

We don't need no stinking towhooks....

      What's next you ask?

      More sanding, then primer...

        looking good man
did you pull the subframe? mine is pretty much fused in there been battling with it after work for a few days now
Also have you gotten into the suspension? I'm pretty much doing it all while its on jackstands suspension/brakes picked up alum. control arms for the front 325is front suspension assemblies and brakes.
I don't think your mom appreciates the value of those modifications

Facelift pan doesn't have holes for early hook(s).

nice project. I'd love to do something like this - my car has always been a little here, a little there.

for degreaser, nothing beats brake cleaner. I get the industrial stuff free from my buddy, works great as an insect killer too. ;)

Why are you sanding it all down? I can understand the engine bay, but not the front arches. I think it would make more sense to hit the areas not in the engine bay with rubberised under body coating. It is a bit more resistant to chipping and works as a sound deaden-er.

I did use new ruberized spray on the outer arches as you called them, you just havent seen new pictures man. Your use of ruberised makes me think your a Brit. Us yankees use a z in there.
