What did you do to your E30 today?

removed the bumper and trunk so i can replace it, and I pulled the neg. batteries and started trickle charging 1 of the e30s.

I ripped out the rev limiter this morning, went to town a couple of times and raced a couple of Honda's. Lol they both thought they were hot shit, sure showed them up. That's pure BMW there.

How did you get the rev limiter out? And how much of a difference did it make?

Well it didn't make a difference as far as power is concerned just more noise. When the guy in the Honda heard how much farther I was revving out compared to him he got scared cus it sounded like it was more built than I said. As far as removing it I seen it posted in here that all you have to is remove the top of your dizzy and remove the little plastic spring thing which is just an ignition cutter switch. As far as I know the only ones you can do it to is the 84, 85 m10 engines.

Installed auto-dimming interior light delay unit

Cool device. Not so fun to install outside in 30 degrees. I like the new functionality. Just like a new car's interior light works. Well worth the price and the effort.

I glued the rear view mirror back on after it got hit with a pair of skis last week... Huge PITA because I couldn't get the metal thing off so I had to hold the whole mirror on the glass while it cured.
