took the tape off my newly painted hardtop:p

sprayed engine bay with handheld steam cleaner. this thing is a peice of shit. its back to purple power and a bristle brush.

I finished bending the last of the brake lines to the relocated ABS pump. I'm going to get a set of some special separator clamps from the DC-10 stockroom at work tomorrow to clean up the line routing. Chicks dig airplane hardware on cars.

Dudes dig aircraft hardware too. Srsly, AN fittings are so commonplace on custom autos now, Better would be, Chicks dig mil-spec hardware on cars. In fact I'll fix it for ya. I'd jock a stockroom of goodies to pilfer and put on my car.

I put headers and exhaust on it.

I pulled out my carpet and pressure washed it.

pulled carpet, let it dry a bit (it's a cabrio)
repainted the front and rear bumpers in mauritusblau (they where satin black)
repainted rocker pannels
replainted front valence and IS lip
touched up little nicks in the paint.

kicked the tires to see if they would stay on.. they did.. also got the closest parking and it was the very last space in the public lot so im happy no quarter mile walk to school from the parking lot for me today.

pulled the good head and the exhaust out of the silver car. Slowly working on getting the rebuilt engine done so it can go into the Spec Car.

Last Sunday the Getrag 260 got new Redline gearlube - nice improvement with shifting. ~1.5 quarts is what it takes.

Next task: replace windshield wiper control stalk (current one functions only when it feels like it) :-?
