        Update!

Me and John began stripping the car down today, and found a few things.

Tons of Spiders, I mean my god, as well as two rust locations, the battery tray, and above the license plate, however those are typical locations, so I'm not worried about it.

        Pictures of the progress

        Starting to tear into it

Rust location on the battery tray

        BMW OEM Coolant Overflow Tank

        A/C Lines removed

Starting to tear into the interior

        EVERYWHERE

        Front bumper gone

        Dash Out

        Spare Tire

        Trunk Stripped

        Seats Gone

        Front end stripped

        4x4 ride height!

Thats all for now, taking next weekend off to enjoy the 3 day weekend on the lake, then we are back at it.

The entire chassis should be stripped down, and we will bring in the 325iC donor car and begin stripping that for parts.

        More to come!

Good work. What are your plans with the bumpers etc, staying with dp's or converting all to plastics, rear valance ?

Also, want to see how / what you are going to do with a hole in the firewall once (if) you remove the a/c/heater box.

we will be installing a late model front valence but most likely be keeping metal bumpers. we talked breifly today about plastics but this will be a race car so we wanna be able to take smaller hits and such without destroying the bumpers everytime.
as for the fireway, the heater box will be gutted out and reinstalled only holding the heatercore. this is because the vehical is required to have a working heater. (rulz is rulz)

i think i got bit by a spider when working on the front bumper cause i have an ichie lump on my wrist.
