I'm eagerly awaiting the outcome. I do hope you will post up some vids (not short ones, full length screamers) when your done. A buddy of mine did this to an E36, That thing went like a raped ape! -
hmm...haven't posted here in awhile. I'm back in school so progress is slow again. Just wrapping up the final little bits here and there. Here's a picture of how she sits right now. Oh, and we test fit the hood today, it fits! Thank god.

Big blocks take more money and make less power, that's all there is to it.Leave a comment:

Stick with the LSx, do you wan to have to fab 10x times more than these guys? Let's see how long the stock rear subframe and diff handle stock LS1 torque after a while before you think about BBC type destruction.Leave a comment:

I think a big block would be a bad idea! that would be like throwing 500 extra lbs strait over the front axle, the car would handle and drive like shit.Leave a comment:

No worries, what's your name again? Good to know there are some other OSU students on this board! Our Baja team has won the national championship 2 out of the last 3 years, they are VERY VERY good. Formula is OK, and we usually place in the top 25%, but we've have problems with build time extending in to testing time, which inevitably leaves some rocks unturned. This translates in to either (1) not finishing the endurance races b/c we break down, or (2) not getting the car tuned enough to put down our best numbers. But overall the SAE program is excellent. Everyone is there to have fun and anyone is welcome to join, just stop by the shop anytime, introduce yourself and ask if there is anything yo can do to help out. We can always use an extra set of hands for anything from coping tubes to laying pre-preg carbon and engine tuning.Sorry to be off the thread starters topic but what do you think of the Formula and Baja club/teams at OSU. I'm a ME at OSU (I have met you before but I'm not going to count on you remembering me) and I've been thinking about getting involved in that for a while but I've never gotten around to it. I just wanted your opinion on the programs.Leave a comment:
