    My Version of Valve Cover

After thinking about what I'm going to do to dress up my valve cover and engine bay...I decided that what you are seeing was a cool, different and clean idea to spice up the regular black idea.

Whats done is done...so here it is.

    What it started off as.

    After 4 layers of black

All taped up for layer one of color

    Layer one done

    After layer number 2

    After layer 3

This is all for now. It is not done and has lots of residue from tape in the pics (which will be taken care of) so this is more like a preview to the final product.

I have most likely 2-3 more layers to do.

Rockin the m30 plaid engine :pimp:

    Flame away!

                    Thanks for the comments!

I'm thinking of doing one more red stripe going the opposite direction, then polish/wet sand and be done with it. I might clear it...but I kind of the like the satin/flat look.

Oh and if anyone would like a houndstooth or other design let me know. I'll do some for a little more than the normal painted valve cover.
